two McAlester Penitentiary escapees being sought for multiple murders committed
after their escape in their flight through six states.
Trooper Young and Trooper Summers encountered the two escapees on a county road near Kenefic and were killed in the resulting gun fight. Both escapees were shot and killed in Caddo by troopers later that same day.
